Swift transition is making me crazy

One of them might have been us we are down that way weekly... How about Swift is 'changing' Central... Jury is still out about the ruin part... IMHO

 

Im sitting back waiting on the verdict.

i think Truckin2eat's point was Central has lost a lot of loads to Prime, Stevens, CR England, JCT, WEL, and others.

 

I heard rumor was kraft dropped them.

 

no one dropped us yet. hope not also, im not too much affected yet. im just having reefer fuel issues. otherwise im good. but im hourly not miles paid.

I do not think you're wrong. Its not an issue of being better person its an issue of things took a 180 for alot of folks and some cant afford to be taking home less then a 1000 a mile week checks.

Ive been with CRS for almost 4 yrs. Things were pretty great money wise once I paid off school. averaged about 2500 miles a week rarely got under 2000. Had good DMs who I liked (and still like) who took care of me.

How and why did we lose miles if things are the same just under a new name? Why havent I gone over the 2000 mile a week mark this month? No one seems to know why or at least wants to tell us!

I am frustrated and pissed! a lot of drivers spend WEEKS on the road away from loved ones and Swift thanks them with a 1000-1500 mile paycheck which might pay a light bill and thats it?! no thanks Swift!

Im leaving b/c I dont feel valued as a driver with this company! most of the time, I dont know when I am talking to my DM on the QC, The communication is at a snails pace around there! If I want actually talk to my DM over the phone now I have to pull over because of Swift policy if you call them while youre driving theyre suppose to hang up on you.

that said it probably will get back normal. but i feel so slided that the damage has been done and its time to move on...

Plus Im getting a much higher rate with the new company im about to jump to!

 

Just ran into one of my central partners on i20 west bound in Louisiana I hit the air horn as I passed him he looked like wtf.. he says he is having problem with getting loads and and scales still. But I'm glad to hear the kraft deal was just lie good luck drivers.

 

Ive been using my Comdata card for scales. no issues

Make sure when they ask for the TRK number you're putting a C then #####
