    I just bought the truck and I gave the volvo dealer my vin. The guy said the motor is a ve12d. Don't know if that is the same as a d12d

    I think I might need to change the fan clutch. Was wondering if it said how to do it in the manual. Don't know if its something I can do myself or if I need to take it in. Little worried about touching this thing. My last truck was a lot simpler.

    on late D12D and European D12D they used PWM controlled visco clutch. It was with build in speed sensor, but really a bit more work with connectors
