CB Techs in Arkansas

Theirs a guy in Lonoke, Ar that I've never visited but heard he's sharp all around.
Kodiaks son is still around somewhere but they no longer own the place in maumelle (car lot now)
The guy I use is up in belle fonte, ar just south of Harrison in the depot truck stop. Best I've used, built about 4 radios for me in the past, cheap labor, just kinda weird to talk to and very hard to get away from when he gets to talking, lol.

Russ is your best bet. He has forgot more than most of them know, you won't be disappointed. I'm in Searcy a lot. I drive for Wal-Mart. I would be glad to carry your radios to Russ for repair as I live nearby. You can PM me for arrangements and we will work it out. Russ was the moderator for several years on one very famous CB board that all the techs still go to for help. He knows his stuff and has been doing radio repair for over 40 years. He has been on here before but doesn't have the patience to deal with the neophytes that want to argue with him all the time, so he stays away. Let me know, be glad to help.

He has really forgotten more than most knows asmike said, he's a genius. I had him rebuild a 66 for me not long ago, matched it to a black widow 500v, and had three red licsence plate lights on the bottom of the radio . (2 for power on, 1 blue for key up) Russ built a circuit board just for that so it wouldn't burn up my contacts. Most everything will fly over your head but he will make one talk. I'm also in central ar, greenbrier area, and will be willing to swing one by also for ya, as I'm needing to go up there. Best of luck, and let us know if we can help.

 

+1 to the guy up in Bellefonte, Ar just south of Harrison in the depot truck stop. He worked on a galaxy radio of mine years ago and did an excellent job. I heard nothing but good reports after he did his magic on the radio. I've heard he's only doing it part time now, but I can't verify that.

 

If you want it done RIGHT make the trip to Harrison. The kid in Kodiak's old shop doesn't compare to Russ
