Another thing I have learned today is not to boast about not having any problems with your truck. Because I had a breakchamber go out and the window get stuck today. This week is off to a bad start ugh.

One question: If by chance it was the motor which they do make defective parts everyday you might see your voltmeter move a hair when you hit the button. See if it does that.

If that the case then the worn motor brushes might be sitting on a dead spot. You can maybe pull up on the window while pushing on the button might move the motor a hair to get it off the dead spot and get it to turn again. If you can't grab the window with your fingers then lightly grab it with needle nose pliers.

If that's not it then I'm sure water got in the switch. You know how copper corrodes green. If you play with the switch enough you might wear some of it off.

Other than that you are shop bound. Stay warm! :)

My 389 killed 3 motors. Peterbilt said they had a problem it's been a couple of years but maybe the problem came back.

    CondoCruiser Thanks this.

That 06 I had did that with the riders side since it was electric over there. I like air on that side and a Crank on the drivers side. As we all know who have had them the air windows are pretty much either up or down there really is no in between.

I got the window fixed finally as it turns out the motor went out. Peterbuilt says my trucks the first 2013 thats done that so lucky me. Good thing was it was completly covered under warranty so i didnt have to pay for it. Another driver pointed out to me today that my turbo is going out he claims because it whistles real loud is that true? If so should I get it looked at or just wait for it to do something? This truck has a cummins isx15 cm2250.

Our 2013 367 had a ds motor replaced once and it was out again at under 100k. Now the ps is out too, oh, and our turbo is also on its way out. Since were in the oilfield it's got to be a little harder on thing bouncing down gravel roads....but we're hourly so it's not like they get abused. Our pusher valve also went bad and various items due to ridiculous routing of wires and hoses. Just doesn't seem like they're built like the older Pete's anymore.

If it's whistling real loud or it starts pulling better than usual shut it off, your more than likely gettin ready to loose one. I lost one bout 6 months ago on a series 60 in an old shorthood 379 I got her up in that top hole and BOOM
