That is great, oliver2! It makes such a difference when they are able to get home and actually relax for a few days. The first day home they need to unwind, then you have a day that you spend getting laundry done and getting him set up to go back on the road so having that third day to just enjoy together is wonderful!
Now, you and Pete need to quit complaining about being 60 .....I'm not that far behind you! You've got me worried, and I have teenagers still at home ....talk about being worn out!:yes2557:

March is not coming in like a lion..it's coming in like an avalanche at Warp Speed! This snow storm set up is a classic "over-running" case where mild air to the south rides up and over cold Arctic air at the surface creating a very large band of heavy snow. What's unusual is the widespread coverage from Kansas to New Jersey and the prolonged 48-60 hour event. Models show several "waves" of low pressure moving along this front this weekend into early Tuesday next week so timing will be nearly impossible as there could be several periods of heavier snow with lulls in between. The total 2-day accumulations look to be 12"+ in many areas from KS to NJ. The difference between 12" and rain is likely less than 50 miles so where the exact line sets up is not 100% certain but most likely from Southern Missouri to Southern Delaware will be rain and the further north of that line all snow to heavy snow. The tail end of the storm could bring lighter 1-4” amounts in parts of the Northern Southeast and even Central Virginia next week. This is going to be a record shattering snowy start to March - see our chart below. - Capt Kirk out.

    Yes...but we sleep well.
George has to think more with the new company, but he likes that.
He has never slept so well in his whole life.
I've always been, hit the pillow, and I'm out.:biggrin_25518: IMG_6426.JPG

Beautiful picture! ....and looks like such fun!

The weather reports are not good, folks. They have already issued a winter weather advisory for this area thru Monday. They are saying an ice storm to rival the one in 2007. Widespread power outages.

well I was on my way to a shipper when I got a blow out on the trailer. Limped to the TA since I was about 8 miles at. Waiting for Werner breakdown to set up the tire change.

Remember that fuel mileage is king, and that the slower you can run, the better.
