I've just installed a Cobra 29 in my company owned 2013 Prostar, but haven't yet bought the antenna. I'm strongly considering the Wilson 2000 because of good reviews I've read here in this forum.
Two problems kept me from buying the antenna today. First, the threaded male receiver where the antenna mast screws on (inside the driver's side mirror) appears to be misaligned just enough with the factory(?) cutout to present problems getting it started without cross threading.
The second issue is related, as the Wilson antenna I looked at today in the truck stop appears to also be a male threaded connection. Is there a female/female sleeve like connector that marries the antenna mast with the cable mount?
I'm sure I'm using wrong terminology here, but hopefully one of you can understand enough to help me. I'm burning up these roads and eager to get this radio working!
