I am in training for my new job and I got pulled into a scale in illinois for a level 2 inspection and when the DOT officer pulled me up in his computer my license was apparently suspended in MD, I live in PA so my CDL was still valid and not suspended, But he put me out of service and gave me a 120$ fine for driving a CMV with a suspended license, I was wondering how long does this show up on my record for when I go to apply to a new local job after a year? Thanks for your help!

What ticket did you not pay in Md?
This can happen. I had an Oh. licenese and had an old ticket I forgot about in Ny.
Found this out in Marion,Il scale. My CDl side was suspened, not the car license part.. -
It was a speeding ticket in MD when I had a MD license, but since then i switched to a PA license and then got my CDL and I never heard anything about it until i got pulled into a scale, My company ran an MVR on me and my record showed completely clean, it even confused the DOT officer as to how my license was still valid in PA

The answer is simple.
It happened during an inspection. It will be on your record for 3 years.baha Thanks this. -

Not sure of the points still looking them up
Here are the points. They multiply by three when issued and decline each year by a third.
