You will have $20 deducted from your check every week for two years. Been there done that...along with thousands of others.

Then you maybe right then... She did mention the fact of defaulting is like 5000 dollars... so... your probably right about the 2500 dollars still paying out... I wont complain either way... but Id rather do it through a company like this.. then go to School and pay 2500+ Tax lol

Millis is a good company to train with. Most reputable stand alone schools are anywhere from 5-10 grand and you have no guarantee of work after completing. They also usually take much longer to complete.

Well this is mainly why I came here to find out more... when I realize having a family and they say you wont see a penny till after the 4th week... kind of scary to know if this is the right choice.. but from what Im reading they're pretty good... so if anyone has more information or an opinion please feel free to send me a message... so I don't hijack the forum here.. :) Id love to know more how they work.. and how they do with treating their employees, even if youd like to throw out pay info to a point for the guys who start out from the school... so I can put my mind at ease and prepare for anything thrown my way!

    Thank you!

Millis has their own section in the Motor Carriers part of the forum. You can't go wrong with Millis. You can easily make 50k+ in your first full year solo with Millis with three weeks paid vacation and frequent hometime. YOU have to apply yourself though as it will not be handed to you...figure out their system and make it work for you.

Oh awesome... fair enough I don't want anything handed to me... its like if you give a kid a car without making them pay for it... never show the appreciation of it.....

DMGabe... apparently I cant PM till I get 7 msgs! so Ill have to work on that! ^_^

Haha. Well no worries. The Millis forum is pretty active. If you post a question it usually won't take long for someone to reply. Most of us are pretty friendly and won't try to BS you.

That's where I'm at with all this. Trying to get some $ set aside before jumping in. Don't want to leave the family struggling while in the process of going thru thier school and training. But like you what I've read this looks like a great company to start with.

This would just be going tooo far. Could you imagine? You wake up in the morning fresh out of bed, still feeling that mid morning tiredness but capable of operating to your full capabilities, and you go to start the engine and it doesn't let you because your facial features show signs of fatigue. Of course they do, you just woke up not too long ago. I foresee this not going over too well.

The camera has nothing to do with the vehicle starting or not. As a matter of fact tje camera shuts off 30 minutes after the engine does and does not power up again.UNTIL the engine does. Facial recognition software only makes the determination that a video should be reviewed. There is enpugh bs rumors without addong more
