I was curious, because they offer training, but not a lot of info on their website about contracts, or even mileage pay after training. Thanks again.

They run 48 states and Canada. From what I know, their biggest account is A.O. Smith hot water heaters out of Ashland City, TN.
They have a flatbed division in Livingston, TN

Terminals in Lebanon, TN / Livingston, TN / Ashland City, TN / Texas / Michigan and maybe other places, maybe something in California since they run to CA a lot.

That's all I know about them.

For those that might have questions about RE West still. I just completed the initial 2 weeks of cdl training with them. The mileage pay is no longer 22cpm its 32cpm for dry van not sure for flat bed. (they were doing a $5k bonus at 100k miles but changed instead to the 32cpm with no bonus). There isn't a "contract" with them other than if you do not complete 100k miles they will deduct $85 for them paying for the DOT physical. After you get your cdl you go on the road with a trainer for 3 weeks. Depending on which trainer you get you depends on how much home time you get during the 3 weeks i.e. they have a trainer that is a local guy that goes home every night and the lead trainer that comes home every weekend. If you are doing van then the majority will be the water heaters which are driver assisted unloading. They pay $70 for the first 3 unloads of the week then $25 for each unload after the initial 3. If there are anymore questions feel free to ask. Also I will update as I get through the entire process as there really isnt alot of info on them.

It is nice of you to post this information. You should also speak to the other drivers who work for the company and let them know that working for 32 cpm is too cheap. Minimum wage paid by mile for a CDL Professional driver should be 45 cpm. When you are not on company property, have a discussion with them and let them know that from 1861 to 1865 our nation fought for and won a great civil war. And it was UNIONS that won that war.

RE West sure has changed a lot. I remember 30 something years ago when all they hauled were cattle for AW Cherry out of Lebanon Tn. A small outfit then,i used to talk with their drivers when I was picking up at the same salebarns as they were.
