Does anyone know anything about them? They advertise 50% of fleet under 1 yr. old. Is it true?

Not likely. And how old is the other 50%, cause that's what you'd get assigned.

    Swamprat55 and Cman301 Thank this.

I wouldn't doubt it. Do you know anything about them? All I know is what I've read in their pamphlet and on their website. Of course both say their the greatest thing since sliced bread! LOL

50% of the fleet is 1 year experience or less.

Are they a new company or just an older company re-named? Does anyone actually know how they are to work for?

I heard they are part of or associated with Gainey, heard that from an ex Gainey driver when Super Service started up about 6-8 yrs ago. That is not confirmed info but we all know that anything a truck driver says is spot on:biggrin_25525:

the majority of their trucks that I have seen are pretty new volvos or cascadias with decent looking trailers. All the old trucks and trailers is beat up Gainey equipment. Still see a few LCT reefers but I'm sure they are disbanding that division once those reefers get retired.

I have a friend of mine thats been with them for 10 years, which includes during the restructuring phase they went through a few years ago when they were in financial trouble. He's also been a trainer for them the last 3 years. From one mans' opinion, its a foot in the door if your starting out, but, not a good idea to retire from. I would check at the truck stops and ask enough of their drivers and take your opinion on the percentage of different comments (good and bad).

as a driver/trainer for super service, no 1/2 the fleet is not less than a year old, but most of our trucks are 2011 or newer, they have been selling the old trucks, most of our trls are old POS, including our newest celodon rejects, newest one if those i saw us a 08.

but we do have freight, i can and do run hard(e-logs) and they keep me moving, when i have a student i don't seem to run as hard as i do solo.

with our training program we dont team train, if thry are driving, im in the jump seat.

this is not the worst company, nor is it the best, some place to get some exp.

Thank you for the honesty. Recruiter told me to get in touch when I receive my CDL-A.
