Hopefully you'll make it home with out any more issues. I've always said Millis is only a starter company. They do have very good equipment which was important to me.
Just a thought but when you have a little time I would read up on Schneider's IC Choice program. I've been stalking a driver that started with Millis around the same time I did but left after a few months. (Dipschitt) Not sure why he left Millis but anyone that would give themself a handle like that I figured had something to say. He's driving for Schneider IC Choice. Go there and look up a couple of threads by (dieselfuelonly) and (Sadwar). Their also writing about their experience with Schneider's Choice program. It's a good read from both of them.
    Good luck.

I have been following diesel fueling for a while....I spoke with one of the IC guys on the phone...he has been doing it for a few years and loves it. the biggest thing is they don't seem to have enough trailers in their pool for the moment. After a year, I can apply...or you can apply after 6 months if you drive for SNI. Thanks for the info

I have a good dispatcher, who I never talk to. He keeps me running up north, I've endured every snow storm and a lot of the NE this winter but the miles haven't slowed down one bit. I try to stay north. When I go south my miles drop. Living in VA he runs me to WI immediately out of the house then i spend a lot of days running the toll road back and forth to NY Connecticut, Mass. Etc. I also do a lot of terminal drops with a preplan out %80 of the time. I think what's helped me this winter is keeping the truck moving, haven't shut down for the winter weather yet except long enough to map out a detour around an accident. Headed down south today though =(

3009 miles once I deliver on Monday morning.

My secrets for consistent miles: 1. Deliver the feight they give you on time. 2. Let them know Asap if you can't get there on time & why (and make sure it's not because you were slacking). 3. Don't whine on the QC. 4. Never call dispatch on the phone unless your QC is out. 5. Don't whine. 6. Never EVER use the QC to vent. 7. Use your head when the truck has mechanical issues: How would YOU handle it if YOU were running Millis? 8. Don't whine. 9. Get a hobby or something else to pass the time when the wheels aren't turning. 10. Did I say 'don't whine'?

Is me or look at the experience level of the people getting consistently over 3k. No offense but those drivers are cheaper
to pay than the veterans (kiss behinds not included). Just an observation I left millis and am glad I did home everyweek and aint had a check less than 1050 in 2 months. Even when it is "slow" insurance a 3rd of the cost of millis and bl7e cross blue shield. No cameras and best part short haul loads pay really really well.

Right at 3000 again... I must be a cheap ### kisser lol But the main thing is do the work and don't whine. I have found that about 75% of truckers would rather sit around a terminal or truck stop ######## about something or trying to prove that they know everything and that they are right.
