Pull the unit apart. Check the circuit board and the flame kit. The spark igniter and flame sensor. They're probably just covered in a bit of soot. Use your air gun and blow it out. It's already broke, so you don't have to worry about breaking it more.
Cheers, -
Before taking it apart I would try to start it with the engine running to eliminate weak battery causing problems..

no power at pump, just replaced wiring.
-
Not sure, i never checked if it was smokeing bad, i dont think it was.
-
Um, its 3 months old and under warnenty, so yea i do need to worry about breaking it more.
-
Wont fire either way, but batts are fine.

Now its giving code 12, Heater lockout. How do i un lockout? how do i take it apart to try and clean it?
-
Would not recommend. That can flood the heater quite easily.
Taking it apart... first, you'll have to go underneath the cab and disconnect the inlet, exhaust, and fuel line, and those four small nuts that hold the heater in place. Then you go up to, disconnect the tubing to the sleeper outlet, disconnect the large plug going to the heater, then you take the top panel off.. you'll need a Torx bit... you take out the Torx screw, and pull up... in that section which pulls up, you'll see three electrical connectors... one black, one blue, one green.. the black is dissimilar in size, so it'll be obvious where that goes, but you should mark the blue and green ones so you reconnect them properly. The connectors are attached to a wiring harness which fits into a slot on the side of the heater... and those go to the glow pin. To remove the glow pin, there should be a hex shaped tool which came with the unit... CAREFULLY remove the glow pin (if you break it, I think it's some $105 or so to replace it), then you can remove the glow pin screen (you'll need a pick). Then you take the heater unit out of the case, and you'll see four screws which attach the motor to the heater. You remove those, and the two separate... and I'm drawing a bit of a blank here, but disassembling the heater further involves a green colored gasket which almost always fractures during removal, and will have to be replaced. If I had one in front of me, I could walk you through the rest of it, but trying to do it just off the top of my head becomes a bit difficult for me at this point. -
based on the smoke output, the wabasco guy thinks its flooded. I disconnected fuel and am trying to fire it. then will reconect and try.
