Plates ?

    This might be a stupid question but what plates do I need for 12,200 gvwr truck & 18,000 on the trailer

    Commercial Plates remain same.. All you change is weight unless you haul outside your state then you need PRP plates..

    irp:international registration plan.you need an usdot number to get plates.you can apply for one at www.safer.org.if you plan to stay within your state check if need an intrastate authority.is the truck and the trailer titeld in the state where you plan to get the plates?if not theres more requirement.best thing contact your local dmv.
