TransAm Trucking, Inc. - Olathe, Ks.?

Got my load and went to Higginsville, Mo. going to stay here for the night hope it is better in the morning not bad now but hate the wind which is gusting pretty hard on I-70

 

I just did such a bad job backing into a parking spot
I had to change my coat and put on my Trans Am coat...........sigh

 

Woke up to 4 inches of snow in Ohio this am and roads pretty much sucked, till I hit I 76. PA, NJ, and NY were all ok. Am now sitting in Queens, and wondering WTH I'm doing here!!! lol

Discovered after last night, that I am no longer a young man. 4 hrs of sleep, just doesn't cut it anymore!!!

 

i used to driive in the late 80's before the cdl and i am suppose to report to rockwall tx on the 11th march for orientation, do. they have good trainers there? Just wondering and hoping I will like working at trans am

 

there are worse companies
they are a starter company to get you experience to move on

Welcome, alabamahalfbreed. If you read back through about a year of the posts on this thread it is pretty much all there. I think everyone has been up front and honest about their experience with TransAm. There are good trainers and some not so good at all. My husband had two, the first one was a mess and quit TransAm right in the middle,(for which we are very thankful!), his second trainer was a blessing. He actually learned from both of them ....just in a different way! We also have a blog that has some information on it that you may find helpful, it will be listed on the bottom of my post. There is a good mix of people here ....current company and lease drivers, former company and lease drivers and a couple of wives of former drivers....so there is a variety of opinions! We all have shared the same experiences with TransAm and yet we have all had different experiences also. It is all here in an effort to help one another and anyone new. Read back through the posts and write down any questions that you might have, we will try to answer them to the best of our ability and experience with the company. Aww crap. Comming out of Hunstville and I get to West Memphis and there is about an inch of ice all down i40. Now I an shut down in West Memphis. (SIGH)

 

Well I think I really suck at this job. An hour to back up in wash area and then in a spot. Iv had nothing at all to eat today and now I sent the 01 and they want 02 so I sent it then they said after break send 03 but now im out of time and I have to pee and I cant get to truck stop or walmart
