Google "Walmart Supercube truck" . They are going into 2nd phase now, Argosy based. Excellent chance they will order enough of them to reintroduce the Argosy to North American market.
If you don't like cabovers it really is simple. Don't drive one. Got it?

The new Argosy tractors are beautiful. From what I've seen of them they are really something.

If you still gotta crawl over a doghouse then through a hole to get into a sleeper you have to lay down in to put your pants on you can keep the thing I want NO part of it.

A few weeks ago, I made a pick up near Conover, NC (I Think) I stopped at a building to ask directions, And they were assembling Argosy trucks. It was a fairly small building. On one side of the building there were about a half dozen assembled units, all white. On the other side there were about 2 dozen cabs wrapped in plastic, also all white. Under a shed, there were chassis banded together, pallets of wheels and tires. Stacks of front and drive axles. I don't know if they were gliders but they were pretty sharp.

The argosy is a flat floor model , stand up at the drivers seat and walk back to the sleeper. As large as a cascadia on the inside.

You imagine wrong:) I climbed up on my 770 Volvo once, and was standing in the doorway leaning over the wheel getting papers off the dash. My brain must have thought I was leaning over a desk in an office, or something as I turned and stepped away...OOPS no floor. I split my head open, blood everywhere, a couple of busted ribs, and my glasses in pieces halfway across the lot. Sometimes I wish I drank or used drugs...at least I'd have an excuse for stupid stuff like that.

No doghouse in cabovers anymore except for low delivery or utility types but the vast majority are flat floor including the argosy which has a fine cab, it has more room inside than a lot of conventionals in fact, this is freightliner new Zealand site but it shows the cab interior http://www.freightliner.co.nz/argosy cabin options.html
