I figured it was only a matter of time before the cabover made a comeback, if only for the entertainment industry. Every movie, tv series, or even commercial that involves a truck seems to have at least one really old cabover in the background. The movie and tv people just love those trucks...and the name Jake, every show has a character named Jake.

Well made a drive through the local shaker dealer. Turns out there was more trucks hidden in the back. Total of 10 there. All tri-drives so I imagine going out west.

You can't beat a conventional layout but certainly coes have their uses, modern coes are very comfortable, and in some cases as roomy as a conventional, the only difference is the lack of a nose, I've grown very fond of havin a nose

Who doesn't like being first- even first to an accident LOL. I like those Walmart behemoths, but I don't see them ever getting around in the USA with a 60' box. But then again, Sam Wall has some very DEEP pockets, and in this corrupt country that's all it'll take to change every law for the past 60 years to his benefit.

That's funny you say that, I was running down the highway in my 4 wheeler a few days ago and I had my windows down enjoying the breeze. Up ahead I could hear a gnarly sounding truck coming up the hill towards me as I was cresting said hill, and I #### you not, it was one of the best sounding straight piped trucks I've ever heard. Sounded mean as hell, but clean as can be and it was out pulling a decked out 379 to top it off. What amazed me, was it just happened to be a #### cascadia. Absolutely blew my mind. I had to roll my windows up and sit in silence for a minute to let that image and sound process, considering what it was coming from. Around here, most of the shakers are ragged as HELL, so that played a roll in my shock as well. Just thought I'd throw that out there. I'm a pete fan myself, but that one single cascadia #### near made me entertain the idea of running a shaker when I end up buying a truck lol.

We rode GM "Fixits" growing up. Never thought that I would miss those bubbles now. But eh... they were good for what we did with them in Baltimore.
I think we would come away from a corner, run the Engine out all the way almost to upshift and then stop at the next block corner. Essentially one gear and all that.
