I know this is a long shot, but if anyone hears or sees anything about a 2009.5 Pontiac G8 GXP let me know, the car was a low production model (1829 built) and was only available for 6 months.

Thieves broke into my shop last night/this morning and stole it, this is/was a super low production combo Pacific Slate Metallic (Silver Blue) A6 no sunroof.

Only 43 cars build in this color, only 6 built with this option combination. Garage was located in North Central Kansas, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Derailed, I already have, been a member over there for a long time. Also called some club members and sent out some emails, we'll see.

It does have on-star, but I don't subscribe because the car is seldom used, about 3,000 miles in the last three years, car shows, club meets, and a cruise or two is it.

On-Star said if you are not a subscriber they can't help.

So the gps is on the car and could help you find a stolen car but they wont help you because you haven't been paying them? Is this a technicality or is it actually impossible for them to do something for you?

I suspect a call to the insurance companty (assuming it was insured) could get it turned on if it required no human interaction to have it activated. they would put up a fight over that kind of coin.
