I'm not a betting man, but 2 months tops and he is out of there. I think 1 month, but he might say the first month is just a fluke and then after finding out he can't get out of the hole. He say's " This shiznick is for the birds" or something to that effect.

It's a Prime lease truck, so it will be a 3-year lease, and most likely something around $1700 per week (I'm guessing here) - since the KWs are the most expensive of the bunch. Modifications? Forget it. That's a real quick way to get your lease canceled here.

To the OP... have you read the lease thread yet?

$1700 A WEEK??? Thats 258000 for a 3 year LEASE. Save your freaking money and buy a good used truck from a dealer with financing from a bank.

Ouch 1700 a week. I hope he is teaming. Or if he is on percentage hauling a whole lot of high dollar freight. Can I change my prediction to 2 1/2 weeks?

Prime lease ops are paid percentage, fuel surcharge and accessorials. I recommend to all new lease ops to go with a Cascadia because of the lower fixed costs, but y'all know what the name on the truck means to folks. It's quite possible to make those payments work as long as you watch your fuel bill. Maintenance usually devolves to tires and PMs... most everything else is covered under warranty.

I still cannot figure out why anyone would want to pay every week to drive someone elses truck.

Thats a bad answer. Your making a couple truck payments for the company your leasing from. Any good accountant and attorney will tell you this is a very bad idea and does nothing but benefit the lessor.
