Have a 96 fld with side fairings that i want to remove. The truck was bought with the right sides fairing all messed up so now just want to remove them for a new look. My question is what parts do i need for the new look?

You need the lower fenders for sure. Plus the brackets. Maybe steps for the tanks. Probably different battery box. Nice part is there are a million fld's setting around for parts.

Red rocket is 100% correct. Lower fenders and steps. You'll also need the biggest Phillips head bit you can find, a couple drill bits and easy outs. Dumbest design ever.
