Is Protection Necessary?

Some people are too stupid to leave home, safely, and will be victims wherever they go.

It is possible to get robbed, mugged, or worse, in some of the areas we have to go to, you just have to keep your eyes open, and doors locked.

You'll need plenty of rubbers to fend off all of those lot lizards that will be beating down your door

 

reads as if you have taken the prophylactic tour with lot lizards numerous times.

 

Last time I posted on one of these boards about how safe it is out here , I promptly began getting pestered by lizards , street hustlers , etc.

I drove otr solo for 9 yrs of my carreer and never had trouble.Besides how is guns suppose to help if you're sleeping.If someone wants to hijack you,they're going to do so and you can't stop them.Especially if a couple thugs are there.

 

Cbicago and New Jersey have passed laws that make it legal to spray a poison into someone's face and mouth?

Might be better off getting mace or bear spray. You might also want to Google "wasp spray urban myth" and check into the legality of using a poison as a weapon. It is illegal in quite a number of states.

 

Obviously, situational awareness and smart practices like stopping at full/well lit truck stops, not smarting off to someone that might have a gun, not being aggressive are all going to help. But do I really need to assume that every car following me, every person approaching me, is going to try to mess...

37yrs never a problem and back in the day those dim lit trkstp's was where the fun was, Alameda, Ontario 76', Calumet, most I can't remember....pretty foggy back then.
