Friend has 23ft freightliner, willing to sell truck,moffet and local route (he has 5 flatbeds does local deliveries for tile and marble companies) willing to show me entire operation for 2 months and then I can make decision. Brand new to trucking, but not hard work. I also have similar option with box truck work, florida maritime port deliveries with similar situation O/O. As possible future career which would you experienced gentleman get into. Greatly appreciate any info.

I don't know how good of a friend this is, but ask yourself why he wants to sell this one route. When he already has it and could easily pay another driver to run it.

He's been in for 20 years (kids all grown up) and he says he is "Totally Burned out running the 5 trucks already" I actually approached him with the idea. Have option of driving for him I just thought for my future I might just go O/O route. Thanks for info.

It seems like a good opportunity that don't come along very often, unless there is something hidden. Also, as good of a friend as he may be, contracts are there for protection for Both parties.
