Rugerfan, how's the new gig going? I stay because my average net pay last year was $1115.00 a week after tax and all truck expenses, I get to work with some great people and a fair number of douchebags ( who are great for unloading on), I drive a cool truck all over this awesome country while getting paid for it, I go where I want when I want and I'm affiliated with a company that exemplifies the American success story. I'm not a company driver anymore which may be the primary reason I'm still here.

They'd have to PAY ME $3K to keep that piece of crap! Took nearly a year to get my Qualcomm fixed correctly.scottied67 Thanks this.

That's nothin'... the load offer that takes the cake for me was when they had a JIT load that had to deliver six hours BEFORE I picked it up. I did a Mac-9 and turned it down, with the times I could make. The reason why I couldn't make the schedule: "Flux capacitor not operating properly".
Then I got a message back from the night planner that said, "Please schedule maintenance at the nearest terminal to get it fixed"....
.... !!!???

A phone call finally cleared that up....Moosetek13 and Lady K Thank this. -
lepton ...now thats funny stuff.i'll have to try that next time i get a preplan like that.
-
It's funny how many planners have no concept of time and distance.
I'm in Aurora, CO at a Costco parking lot for the night.
After my delivery I found a nice little corner here instead of trying to find parking at TA or the terminal.
No pplan yet, and I hope it's not too crowded when I finally want to get out of here. Things are a bit tight.
Edit:
And after a brainstorm, since there is no one in the lot right now, I decided to reposition myself for an easy out.Last edited: Mar 7, 2014

It was terrible. Almost out of Illinois, The summer girls showed up on a GTO. Convertible/ top down,/top down. Wife said I asked them to do that at the last fuel stop. Their just showing their love for our truck dear. Guilty/guilty. 140mph GTO, 122mph Kitty. Nice day.

Did you get flashed?
I had my first flash a couple days ago.
A car comes next to me and stays there.
I look over and see a girl give a big smile, then she lifts up her shirt.
I laughed and gave her a big thumbs up. -
thats what I do when I park in a lot, once everyone is clear I will move around and make sure im set where its easier to leave especially after waking up several months ago being blocked in by cars. I make sure im set where I cant get blocked these days.
I have not gotten flashed yet, knowing my luck I will get it by someone I dont want to see
