Curbs gonna halfta stay at the yard for a few days, huh? Bummer. It's like going to the principal's office when we were kids...only worse.

    Hope you're ok.

    Oh, BTW, Curb.

When you get back to Dallas, tell them they need to send some trailers to Walmart in Cheyenne.
The 2 that were at the DC are filling up with pallets, so we've been here at the Flying J long enough it turned into a 34 hr. restart.

If we don't have a preplan when 0501 rolls around, we'll call WM and see if the trailer we brought them 2 days ago is empty.

Every Restaurant depot will give you an interesting route in, interesting back, and interesting lumpers. East coast, west coast, makes no difference.

Green-eyed Lady and Curb Thank this.

Cheyenne walmart, pallet load to garden city KS, Holcomb KS to the east coast... There has never been more than a couple of dropped trailers in cheyenne.

Got a letter at the house today from an attorney in texas about a class action against stevens for drivers working or have worked at stevens since jan of 2011. Not really interested in a class action since nobody makes money except the lawyers.

I think everyone who drove for Stevens during that period got one of those letters. It's just a lawfirm trolling for class action business. Did you read it? They're trying to 'recover' money for people that came to orientation that weren't paid for the first three days during orientation. Also for those between OR1 and OR2, all based on minimum wage.
Sorry...I don't think it's going to cut it. I wasn't promised anything when I came to orientation as far as pay, except if I didn't 'make the cut' they would pay my bus ticket home and my motel expense while I was here.
    Typical lawyers.

Wish i had more to add. Every time i start a post, despite my attempts to lighten the content, it always ends up a snarky, sarcastic, caustic whinefest.
    No time for such shenanigans!
    Get a rope.

    Thanks TLea,
We sent a QC to Stevens offering to take the trailer with pallets to Mr. Weaver, but no one took us up on our offer. Went back to WM the next day and left with the trailer we brought them. On our way to Illinois.

We've been to WM in Cheyenne 3 times now, so I'll make a note that empties aren't always available right away. :yes2557:
