Parked at the southbound rest area between Socorro, NM and Truth or Consequences, NM. 3 hours to El Paso. Have 4.25 left on my 70, lol. Not bad.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Got my physical done for my medical card, and been sitting in Cactus TX all day waiting to get some hours. Got 1hr 15 minutes left on the 70 but will be gaining some more hours at midnight mountain time. But that means It's about time to hit the road. Going to Norcross, GA but don't have to deliver till 15:30 Monday. So I'll be at the Home 20 In okie city in about 5 hours. Have a sleet and rain event that will be trying to catch me, but I think I'll be able to out run it. Got a load going to Tomah WI after I get this one off. Well it's time to roll No time for Truth or Consequences
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee haww.

You'll be right in my neighborhood. The terminal we park at is in Norcross off I-85 exit 102.
I'm at home suffering through a QuickBooks upgrade/catch-up weekend since my CPA has failed to deliver and I'm running out of time. I'll shoot you a PM with a phone number in case you have a little time to visit, and I'm not off somewhere else getting my own wagon loaded or pistol whipping an accountant.Dinomite Thanks this. -
Starting our loop again... Will be passing from CA to AZ tonight... Switching drivers @ the Loves in Tehachapi...

Ya we deliver to that Birchwood Foods over in Norcross. They changed the way they let us in the gate. So Probably not going to leave OKC until the morning, and then whenever I stop for my 10 I'll try to leave there with enough time to give me a 2 hr window b4 my apointment. So I don't run out of Hours. Head over to the Gainesville Pilgrims Pride after that to get my Tomah load. Really hoping I can get out of Norcross early so I can get trailer washout B4 they close at 5pm in Gainesville. Really don't want to go all the way up 85 to the beacon. Or back into the ATL area in that traffic.

FYI the Walmart on Pleasant Hill Rd (Exit 103 Steve Reynolds, left then two lefts to enter from the N. Berkeley Lake Rd entrance) is truck friendly and not far away. If you don't need a Supercenter and feel like roughing it a little, I think you can get away with parking on Pelican Dr. It runs behind a QT, Sonic, Wendys, and a few other places a little further down JCB from where I think you're going to. Left on Best Friend Rd, then left into Pelican and you'll already be pointed the right way and not blocking driveways.
You can also get a washout at Snow Services in Gainesville. They're practically around the corner from Pilgrim's on Aviation. They aren't open much later, but if you're cutting it close just call and let them know you're coming. They'll probably wait up on you. Also good to know as they do full service truck and trailer repair there. The reefer guy is an expert and they are good people to do business with. In fact, that's where my trailer is right now. Just have to pick it up. -
Back on the road again. Plan was to meet up with Cranky Yanky but I won't get to Omaha till late.
Heading to Sacramento then Seattle on Tuesday. -
Parked at home for tonight then off to Laredo to finish this run.
