Very rough idle

    Last time this happened, I added 2 bottles of meaner power cleaner and 100 gallons of diesel to 1/4 tank level(296 gal max). I just bought the 2 bottles again but I would like advice regarding this issue before I pour them in the morning alongside some fuel. Fishbowl fuel filter looks okay.

    Also, the speedometer gauge needle pointed down for a bit while the truck's dash beeped for a few seconds. Don't know if the 2 are related.

    Sounds just like one of ours when the fuel/timing solenoids were going. Ours was surging up and down at idle.
