Its a 9 speed regardless what's on the knob. Mine says Eaton Fuller. Even if it said duck it would still be a 9 speed. Just my, once again, oh so humble opinion!

I've got 10 forward gears on my 2013 Volvo.
I never use all 10, but I've got them.

I haven't read all of the comments but, home time, yes my husband who is a swift driver, has always been home on time for his home time and there have been 2 occasions where he had just gotten back on the road and an emergency came up at home, one was a surgery for me 5 days after he left and his DM got him back home and said "You work hard for us so don't worry about it and take the time you need." He went back the day after my surgery. As far as miles go, he gets PLENTY of miles, but then again, only declines loads if he's headed home and they are going the other way. He is at about 28k miles so far this year. He logged 3700 miles last week, 3300 the week before that, and 3600 the week before that. Jan was incredibly slow but it was like that last year too. He's a solo driver and has only worked for Swift and has been there since Sept 2012.

That's good to hear, can you tell me if the trucks have APU'S? And when he started out did he get good miles or did they kinda test him at first? I appreciate the info.

And the only inverters you will get away with using have to plug into the 12V socket. That means about 150W of power, max.
Nothing connected directly to the batteries unless you are L/O, O/O or need a CPAP machine.

    inkeper Thanks this.

Mystic, I know exactly who you are talking about. The recruiter said that drivers are needed for this "dedicated" account, and after my 240, I will be assigned to this. Now....we all know that everything a recruiter says is gospel...right???? LOLOL
