He don't care been doing this for years!!!!!! He has already been caught before but now he pays off the Postal folks to keep his millions coming in!!!! I used to work for another contractor and he says this is how he outbids him.

 

Many drivers unhappy once he takes over a contract. I'm going to get them to go with me to the DOL!!!!

 

My understanding of the postal contracts is that driver pay is spelled out in contract. We don't have 10 hour runs that only pay 8 hours. I do various runs and they are all paid by the hour. I don't get paid for traffic delays unless they are weather related. All other delays such as postal and breakdown are paid by the hour.
As far as H&W pay, we have to buy the insurance IF we don't have other insurance i.e. on a spouse's policy. I am single so my H&W pay more than covers my costs so the excess is paid to me as it should be.
IN MY OPINION you work for a crappy mail contractor.

Funny that's who told me about him underbidding routes and not paying driver correct. Nice man Tim Pals I thing was his name. You know him?

Anyway, if it's that bad, WHY ARE YOU STILL THERE? If he's been doing this for years, and pays off the people at the Post Office, what do you think will change? One disgruntled employee going to upset him?

I kinda don't think so.

 

You should have a copy of the contract you signed with him. What does the contract spell out? If the contract is not in agreement with your pay statements, then file a claim with NJ DOL.

How long have you been working for this contractor? If you have been for awhile, you just now caught this?
