I had to create a profile just for the purpose of correcting this malicious attack against a company I have know and worked for years.
First, it should be a well known fact that Prosport has passed each and every DOT audit with flying colors.
Second, the vast majority of smaller companies do not have the resources to micromanage the drivers. If they offer a certain route that need to be handled by a team and the driver choice is to break the rules it a whole different matter.
Third, no company will be able to survive by promoting an unsafe and illegal business model, not in today's competitive market.
Fourth, Prosport is using electronic logs except for owner operators.
It is easy for anyone with a bone to pick to pick to attempt to discredit and allege "illegalities" without any supporting evidence. If they had the proper authorities should be notified. Making allegations without documentation is just wrong and is not serving the trucking community in any way shape or form.
While is is a fact that many immigrants are employed there, it does not mean that that all immigrants are bad, illegal, or engage in unethical or criminal conduct. Just, the reference to this irrelevant to the subject matter issue may be the underlining reason for the malice expressed, possible bias and prejudice...my opinion.
    Be safe out there...:biggrin_25520:

If they electronic logs they just got them, when I went there to fill out paperwork and have my joke of an orientation, the orientation was me and the OWNER sitting there and him showing me how to lie on log books to never need a 34 hour restart, I don't know who you are " maybe someone in the office or one of the owners ?? three weeks into the job THE OTHER OWNER told me he was assigning me a load, and when the booker called me he gave me a fake name to give them saying he was my co driver, so I could run 850 miles SOLO IN ONE SHOT..
Again whoever you are EVERY driver in this company drives illegally !!! SO SAVE THE SNAKE OIL YOUR TRYING TO SELL PEOPLE, this company is dangerous period !!!!!

I was new to trucking and didn't know how 4000 miles a week was possible, I thought it was possible because the owner said his drivers do it, once they asked me to do a load that was 850 miles in one shot, I gave them their truck back because I'm not trying to kill anybody by falling asleep at the wheel. I will admit I thought at first if other drivers were driving it then it was possible and the money must have been great ! only after getting out there I quickly realized that you couldn't do it without breaking the law, and putting too much stress on yourself, and I gave them their truck back..

And I did have written proof and text messages instructing me to lie about being a team, I sent everything to the FMCSR and got no response, so you and your company are in the clear to continue breaking the law until you kill some innocent family !!

My question would be, How they could force you or anyone else to drive over your hrs?
I could care less what another driver does. I pu the load run my hrs and shut down. If I can't make del on time and I ran my hrs, what are they gonna do? I have run plenty of team lds as a solo. Dispatch would ask why truck stopped. Sorry only me driving. They usually would just rscdl del or repower the ld.
If you screw up your driving record kissing co behind, it is never anyones fault, but the person in charge of the vechicle.
Run your hrs and communicate eta-pta's. Thats all you have to do. It has worked for me since day 1. Never been charged a service failure on a ld, never.

Seems to me CaliTrucker is just broken about not being able to drive for a company that doesn't baby you. I mean I have been working for this company for 2 years and I live out of california and not 1 time has this company or its owners asked me to lie or anything of the sort. I make very good money running as many legal miles as I can on an open speedo so that helps alot. They are very friendly and driver oriented and honest in always paying us on time as well as even giving drivers cash advances when they are in need. You can cry to the DOT and FMCSR all day long but truthfully they will find nothing illegal about their operation. The only thing I find awful is drivers like you that get butthurt over something with a company and then go crying to the authorities to make them look bad.

I don't condone companies running drivers illegal what so ever. But I do find it hard to believe the owner will show you ways running illegal.Sure he wasn't showing you ways how to save on your hrs? Some have trouble logging and use up more hrs then is necessacarily.

You can't be forced by dispatch or the owner of a company to run illegal. If you did it, it's on you. If the boss' try to get to run illegal tell them no way. I've done that, a few times. Walk away if they keep trying.
