opening curb side bunk door

    the latch seems to be broken or apart how do you open it to repair it and the same for the passenger door how does the panel come off

    Take off door panel and pull rod to unlatch door, replace plastic clips and broken parts

    For passenger door, when you open the door panel, replace everything, dont just fix it. I worked for tmc and has the same ishue. They would tighten everything up and it would work for a few weeks and then break again. You really need to replace all the parts from the latch to the handle. It broke 4 times untill they got the memo (i was a trainer, so we kinda needed the door)

    The small door on the right side of the bunk can be accessed under the mattress. You'll have to take off the plastic tray with the power port, then some screws will take the wood panel off that end. Once that's off, you can get the door open to replace the latch.

    This is on our 379's, I have no clue what model truck you have.

    It'd help us if you told us the year they changed the interiors about 4 times in those trucks.
