It is the same, who in the area, who has the hours. L/O is supposed to have a little priority over company, but most of the time, the planners do not even look, plus lots of times, a computer just looks and sends out loads.

I'll sometimes talk to other Swift drivers - O/O or L/O.
They tell me about the loads they have been offered.
Many times I get the choice loads, as a company driver. More miles and/or less weight.
I really don't think operator status has much to do with it.
It is more where you are at, when you deliver, hours available, when you set your PTA for, etc.. -
Do otr drivers get sent to the 5 boroughs of NYC or do use regional drivers for that?

I've been to New York plenty of times, but never to NYC.
