Bad news, the plague is hitting! I havent even left home yet and feel like crap and the worst is yet to come. Already talking to my DM about some downtime in Rockwall. -
Well I ran out of my 70 guess I did my log time wrong. Im so lost its not funny. So here I sit. Till I get time back
-
it all takes time
you need to go off duty as soon as you stop the truck every time
a few weeks from now it will all make senseHometimeQueen Thanks this. -
Thats if I have a job a few weeks from now? On a good note I did 608 miles yestrrday
-
but if you don't figure it out they wont have to pay you either
but I bet you get to run enough to pay the truck payment
you need a friend that is a present driver to help with the nuances of maximizing your time -
Are the loads consistent

I was previously told that since I've not driven in 5 years that I'd need a refresher course or 3 months of new driving experience. I'm about to start at a company and will have that 3 months experience in 3 months. What I'm wondering is would I be able to lease right away or not? I'm interested in a long lease for a new(ish) T680. Also, is early payoff an option?

For example, if you put yourself on duty to send your empty call and you sat waiting for your next dispatch for say 30 mins, you can just go back and change the 30 to 1 and get back 29 mins on your log. Or if you put yourself on "fuel", finished fueling, went inside to get a snack, shower, etc. and forgot to take yourself off "fuel" status, just edit down fuel time to just a few minutes and put yourself off-duty for the rest.
If I look at my log recap screen, my "on-duty" time should only be 15 mins or so more than my driving time for any given day. If it looks much over that (sometimes it will if I have extra fuel stops, etc.) , I will go back and examine why and edit if needed.Last edited: Mar 11, 2014
