Sleep and get paid

do you know any jobs ANYWHERE that pay you to sleep on the job or even at home?

 

Hmmm, getting paid for peeing. Now that is something I never thought about. But I guess any time you are on the clock, and you have to take a leak, you are getting paid for peeing. . .

If that is almost dead, then I am mouldering.

In the Flatbed section there's a thread about ol' Bedders..Maybe come on over to the "Flatbed Side"? (I didn't say anything over there for fear of losing my flatbed card) but that #### is starting to kill me!!!!

 

I am slaveried. I mean salaried.

That means I am their ##### 24/7. Thankfully only M-F. (weekends are by volunteer, as long as they have enough volunteers)

So when I only have a 10 hour day, they know they can put a load on me in ten hours from when I shut down.


If it was a 9-5 job I would not start again til 9. But in the case of a trucker, I am paid to sleep on command so I am available for dispatch at the end of my ten.

Yep. And then they can earn their entire years pay in a very short time, doing things that most people would never consider doing.

 

Exactly. How much would you pay each of them to save your house?

Now ask how much you would pay each of them to save your child or wife from a burning house?

now ask how many times they do that in a year...
