There's whole sections of this forum devoted to both companies... have you looked through them? This is a recurring thing, where we're constantly getting "which company should I work for?" questions, and I'm not trying to bust your balls here, but the point I'm trying to get across is that nobody here is in your shoes, so we don't know what specifics you're looking to get out of it, nor do we know what either company has offered you (if anything at all), nor do we know which other companies you may have looked at and passed on, or why you passed on them. Your situation is unique to you, and this is a decision you shouldn't really be leaving to others to make for you. Instead of a broad question about "which company should I work for?", why not interact with the drivers of those companies (we have plenty on this forum and entire subforums dedicated to those companies), get their perspective, and make your own decision based on what you take away from that? You'll get a #### load of people saying, "don't work for Swift", and most of them will never have worked for Swift. More the same with Covenant.

Why just those two companies to chose from? Many companies will hire Roadmaster graduates. Two or three dozen companies to chose from. I'm not knocking either Swift or Covenant, just curious how you narrowed it down from so many to choose from.

Chinatown Thanks this. -
There's no rule/law that says you can only consider or apply to companies that work with your school. Spread your wings, man. Shop every company that hires from your area. You might surprise yourself. Good luck & many safe miles.
PeteWitchingHour, Chinatown and maxter Thank this. -
Comcar sometimes hires local drivers in Florida.
Comcar has 5 divisions to choose from and hires new CDL graduates.
Here's some more to look at, for Florida residents, that hire new CDL graduates:
This should keep you busy filling out online applications. Get your tanker/hazmat endorsements for those $55K - $65K per year jobs.

Add Beyel Brothers to the list. I have a friend who works there that admitted that they hire inexperienced drivers. Might have to start doing something else but they'll work with you.

"Everybody" being.... who?
It's not the easiest thing to do, but it's not unheard of. The problem with local jobs is that the good ones aren't so easy to come by, for anyone.
