Yeah I undestand that, but don't tell me one thing and request all this information and than when you are provided with everything you ask for all you can tell me is "We will not pay you anything for this" the next day after saying you would pay for waiting! What kind of shady stuff is that.

It's BS frankly. I got shafted twice last week on similar deals. First one was just an hour so I won't get into it but the second deal cost me 207 miles of deadhead. Load cancelled, no truck ordered not used. They offered me "another load" which had 900 miles and 4 days on it. I said no thanks just pay me for the miles I ran up here to the middle of nowhere and I'll find something else. They refused to pay because their "customer" refused to pay. I've done business with this guy for almost 4 years but that was the last load I'll book with him. If he can't come out of pocket to at least cover my cost for truck ordered not used then he's not worth doing business with in my opinion.

Choptank pulled a load off of me last year.

I had a $2+/mi load out of the Northeast going to Texas that had three stops on it. Really liked it. Picked up on Friday. All deliveries Monday and Tuesday AM. Get a call Friday morning asking if they can add another stop to the load, but would push the load back another day (but, it's on the way between two of the stops). Tell them, no, I liked the load as is. They wanted to pay a little extra but not to cover a second day. They say, "okay, then we'll pull the load". I tell them I have a signed rate confirmation for the load as-is, and that's the load I was going to run. If not, give me TONU. They refused and claim the load (with the extra stop) has already been covered (this within minutes of me telling them I didn't want the extra stop added because the pay wasn't worth it). My guess, they found someone cheaper to do the total load, and booted me off of it.

Never got paid. They're not worth dealing with.
