I hear copper is prime material, just waiting for someone to snatch it up.
People spend hours and days stripping the stuff from skinny wires. I'd imagine those big heavy coils would be a real temptation.
Gotta be care with those HiVal loads (even if they don't say HiVal).

I'm in UT, somewhere, heading to SoCal.
Hopefully I get a load out very quickly. I hate SoCal.
But my 70 is a bit short, so I'll probably have to spend ($$$) a night at the TA.
And I'd rather $pend it in a TA than one of our terminals down there. Yuk!

The largest trucking company on the planet - you would thing they would (could!) provide better.

Right, I forgot that they use those little sticky deals now and not the plastic things they used when I needed them.

heber ca. got here to shipper about an hour early.receiver guy doesnt speak english very good, so he gave me the phone to talk to his boss. he said that there was something wrong with the load, so they had to take it back to the warehouse to get reworked. be between 1600 and 1700 before it gets back here. this is a dropyard for loads coming across the border i beleive. notified my dl and he said hang out there. he'll message planners to see if i can get anything else. other than that have to wait. doesnt deliver to san berdoo till midnite, so still will have time

Here in Ft. Worth. Busted my hump to get here, only to find out, drop trailer and no mt. Now get to deal with Lancaster getting a mt. Did Mac 30 4 times today and got the same 3 offers, 2 going to Houston and one to Dayton, TX. All under 300 miles and one did not deliver until 1800 tomorrow. DM was trying to hook me up to some good loads with miles, and they were already taken. There is a chance for a Dillard that is preloaded that is going to AZ, but again, wait for Lancaster to get a trailer solution.

Well, I reset my pta when it came down to 1 hour left on my 14, and then get sent a pplan, pu in Mesquite and del in San Antonia by 10 in morning. this would include finding a trailer and getting it there. Did not see that happening. Even if started my 10 hour right away, it would not be done until 3 in the morning, then go find a mt, plus the pplan said pu by 1730. Like that will happen during rush hour here. Can not wait for my DM to get back from vacation.

    Primm, NV.

I have a 0800 delivery in the L.A. area tomorrow. Planning to head out at around 0200 to try and beat the rush hours.
    I hate driving down there.
I'll only have about 3 hours on my 70 after I deliver it, so it looks like I'll be stuck paying for TA or stuck in a terminal for a day.

When I first got my OK and KS pass, permits in PHX told me that the best way to use, when needed, get out the scotch tape, tape to window, and when done, just remove and place back in the envelope. Now been doing that for 3 years.

How much do you get charged for using the passes? (I heard there was a weekly fee) We got them on our own (Central didn't reimburse O/O or deal with Ktag/Pike Pass) so I'm curious...
