Some reason we joined up with swift to pull freightliner chassis. Stupid cause they have priority so sat all day waiting to get it then anytime swift pulled in I got bumped then lost the one chassis and sat some more. Such a productive day, a whole 150 miles in my day.
Not swift

Lemme guess...you were loading in Gafney, SC and their little regional drivers with the blue stepdecks came staggering in. You know you're in a bad spot when Swift is the big man on campus.
jsprocket Thanks this. -
I would have left.
-
I didn't have a problem at Gaffney. Except the guy in front of me checked in with an empty trailer then went out in the yard to find a different empty trailer to load. It took him 2 hours to drop and hook. I hate to wait for him to get loaded before I could load

Yep, thought they were hot stuff. Annoyed me cause they would say your next then here comes 2 swifts and I got bumped.
-
Need the miles got stuck in Florida and still plenty time to get there.
-
You can't get miles sitting all day.
I'm so glad I'm not running for one of the megas worrying about miles. That would suck. -
Those guys are the regional runners. They run between Gafney and High Point. The regular Swift bedders call them the High Point Homos because they always roll in riding each other Acc bumpers.
-
If I left wouldn't be anything else today. Got detention so at least something

X2
if you "need the miles" 150 wont cut it. Sometimes better to take the short term hit and find something betterCluck Cluck, MJ1657 and passingthru69 Thank this.
