The word is definitely getting out. Even the popular urban legend debunker Snopes.com has (as of just today) updated a story originally from 2005 to include the latest talk of this year's impending strike.

And if this strike doesnt get off the ground successfully, Snopes will destroy any future attempts of having a valid strike.

Without proper organization this work stoppage won't get off the ground.

Less than 14 hours to strike and there is no organization. The CB is dead. This forum has the most people on line right NOW, but even with 3600 people looking at this, it doesnt have the steam. Trust me, I would love to see this work, but see my other post in the other thread.

Agreed! It takes organization and unity to pull something like this off!

I would love to see something happen to. Everyone could benefit from a properly organized work stoppage, and not just those in the trucking industry either. The cost of fueling a big truck is trickled down to everyone who buys anything.
It's going to take a lot more than a few posts on an internet message board to organize and plan this thing out. This needs to be planned out better than a trip that has 5 stops in lower Manhattan would be.

I have had my base station ( cb radio at home ) on all day and drivers all around are talking about the strike and with 2500 watts of a big tube amplifier power i have been blasting info about the strike all day as well. Everyone i have talked to is going to shut down or slow down tomorrow and i have yet to hear anyone say anything negative about it.

They mentioned it briefly on CNN Headline News this Morning too.
