Maybe I'm glad I haven't made it by the yard this week. I imagine the driver lounge is a zoo first thing in the morning.

Zoo doesn't even cover it. Hahaha! It is crazy enough with everyone in orientation. There isn't just one clown in the group but more like 4 clowns! It most definitely makes for a very interesting day.

Wow there were only 8 people in my orientation and one was TWT. Looks like they are ramping up their hiring.

Jeez, that's a bunch. We had like 18 or 19 for my orientation class as well though IIRC.

One thing is for sure. System's turnover rate is not 4% like Curtis the recruiter told me it was lol.

Okay, I have a dumb rookie question. Is this a pole truck?

I'm not sure I'm okay with it; that poor girl is going to get cold, probably fall off and certainly get bored. Furthermore, my wife is going to complain.

Wife and I will be finishing up school in May, looking into System Transport, flatbed to start...Our concerns are miles/pay(want lots of them)...Canada, Alaska, not too crazy about NY City but will if need be... home time is mute issue...So far looks like a good company to work for, don't really want to job hop...Any advice is apreciated...thanks...

That's about identical to my bucket list, except for the team part; my wife is working already and has to watch the dog team anyway.

    Go broncos!

I've shared what little i know about teaming here in previous posts. I'm still fairly happy here after 8 months. They P*** me off sometimes, but i imagine most company's will due to the high standards i have for myself and support structure.

I dunno. Seems like you'd have to be able to get along with them real well. Like going on a three year expedition to Mars in a spam can well. I spent 8 years living alone in a cabin in Alaska, so that prolly wouldn't work for me. It also seems like pretty good money, but then you have to split it. Hmmm. Whatever works, I guess.

A cabin in AK sounds nice right about now...

Idaho would probably have easier winters though.

Oh and i agree. Those team drivers are something else. I could never survive on a regular basis with that kind of togetherness all the time.

    Airborne Thanks this.
