Keep us updated if you get the time. I too am on the list. How long did you have your application in before they said you were good to head to Fayetteville?

    mje Thanks this.

Congratulations and the absolute best of luck to you!

Tyson Foods has a reputation of having some of the best paid truck drivers along with some of the best benefits in all of the United States of America.

If I am not mistaken, I believe that their average annual incomes are $56,000 a year. Some of the drivers make less, others make more.

Also, Tyson Foods has a reputation of showing decency and respect towards their truck drivers.

Sixty plus Congrats on the new job and hope all goes great. Keep us all posted please.
Do you have any info you can share ?

    Pay
    Type of truck and transmissions
    OTR or dedicated
    Average miles

Do they hire new CDL grads ?
I am from Indiana and I think that is the hiring area.

Appreciat any more info if you have any. I am sure you have a lot on your mind right now.

Do you know how long out with a trainer ?

    mje Thanks this.

Perhaps the above website information will be of help to you. Also, if I am NOT mistaken, the trucks are automatic transmissions. That, like the website, is subject to change. Their phone number is 1-800-933-6442, out of Springdale Arkansas.

If I had a CDL, could pass the physical, meet all company and D.O.T. requirements, I would POSITIVELY look into Tyson Foods.

    Good luck to you!

razor, it was a couple of days after I told them to process my app. We had several conversations between me completing the app and telling them to process it. But, they are digging very deep and require things that are not real handy! So far no hiccups!

China, I was amused at the 70 mph governing! Don't think I will be pushing it up against the governor too much! I am old and slow. ;-)

Dennis, most of the information you asked about is on their website. If you need more PM me.

From all that I have read and heard in talking to Tyson, they are a great company to work for. I think I got really lucky to have been invited to orientation! Everything has been first class and th ear recruiter is not a commissioned headhunter, so no need to sugar coat anything. I'll try to post.as.things progress.

Thanks all for the well wishes!

    dennisroc and Razor3 Thank this.
