V board

    Haven't heard to use yet but apparently people in company are idiots nd not using them when needed. How many and what sizes do ya'll suggest. How much gap also in between the 2 boards when connected.

    I made ones with 2x4x4'or 8' with about 8" of an old 4" strap..

    I did the same as Suprtrkr but I suggest painting them. They will last longer in the weather.

    You can use treated lumber and in most cases the 1x4x8 will work and take up a lot less space than the 2x4s. Though some may have something going where they need the heavier boards.

    Got a message about rolled roofing so figure that's the problem cause people are having load shifts I guess.

    I like the 2x4 for V-Boards. You can put more tension on them and they tend to hold loads of brick or cinder block together better. Also very useful when hauling loads of flat stone packed upright.
