    After a little protest I have to pick up a coil at Heitman Steel in Butler, Indiana tomorrow morning. I have the coil racks, but don't have any beveled lumber. Anybody have any ideas?

    Are you sure it needs to be beveled? Most steel mills don't see to care. Most of the coils we pick up at Heidtman are skidded so I can't say for sure.

    Still at home in Denver. Have booked 4 loads since yesterday and they all have canceled.

    Spoke with a broker today about a load that was 84k, he was quoting his customer at $4.50 a mile? Really - 8 axle freight - thanks a lot really.

    IDK. I asked how many I was getting and they couldn't tell me nor could they tell me if they were skidded or not. It says 48,000 pounds on the Qualcom. I have 6 racks because that is all we carry so I will go on over and see what is what. Worst case scenario is I go home empty on a Friday.
