Once the inspection is over, you can (and should) log off duty (which is required if placed OOS for HoS violations).

 

For the mention.. I was not reffering to a break under OOS or log violations.. i ment legit breaks .. then again. perhaps the poe may serve as a transfer station for those that won't or cannot enter the state..

 

If you can't enter the state you don't want to end up in there! There's a flying J a mile north on the Nevada side

 

Someone should go get a box full of endangered rodents and dump them all over the worksite and then call in the environmentalists. That might slow things up. Anyway, I won't see the place anytime soon. My truck is not worthy of traveling CA roads. $85 million. Wow.

If it is the truck OOS or your OOS for any reason other than HOS you best be on-duty. HOS guide, "All time taking care of your truck when it is broken down."
