After delivering at the coal mine in Pa, reloaded at Dundalk and had to pay $100 for a #$%^'ing TWIC escort as my card expired the 9th an I could not to the EED deal due to me not being born here! No matter I am a citizen...
Delivered that 324EL in Topeka and came on home yesterday. Applied for a new TWIC today in Chesterfield, and back home again. Take some time off.

Been kinda hectic since loading in Santa Paula, running low on hours in fact, which is VERY rare for me!!!
Home now though, so got some jobs to do on the truck, and a few other things, then spend some much needed time withe the kids and wife.

Here's a question on manners:




Today a truck tried to make a u turn at the Ft Smith scale, eastbound. Emptied the scale, and the scale masters were having a foot race to catch up to him trying to get him to stop. He couldn't make the turn because of a guardrail, and so he was backing out on 40 to have another go at it. If it were any other company, you would be shocked. It's the 2nd time I've seen a truck from this company try to make a u turn at a weigh station.

Would laughter be rude in this instance?

I'll be sure to try it. I've been smelling lovely things wafting across the parking lot for a while to get revved up to go smash something.
