People seem to be happy with warner. Although I would rather eat my legs before I work for any of those bottom shelf companies. For a starter company u can't go wrong to make things easier go on YouTube and type in. Swift transport reviews warner covenant etc, and study the drivers

How good is your record and back ground??? If its good, apply to Beyel Bros and Southeastern Freight Lines in addition to Swift, Stevens, and Werner. Also apply to US Xpress.

Covenant teams so that is paid for all miles the truck rolls (like getting 38cpm as a solo). If you can handle teaming & can run -- covenant has good equipment & pays well. I made just shy of 50k for my first year right out of school. The pay sucks during training, but ramps up quickly after 1,3,6 & 12months... Average length of haul was over 700 miles last I checked -- lots of coast to coast stuff if you don't mind seeing a lot of interstates 10, 40, & 80...

Swift is a lot bigger and probably has more options for regional/dedicated, but their trailers often look like they're about to rust through. They're getting better though. Aside from that I know nothing about them...

Try Farm2Fleet, they book loads from Covenant. They get like more than half dozen $. Ask BigBadBill (founder of F2F), Rollin Coal (black t600), NoCoCraig (red vn780), and Pound Puppy (pete 387). They can give more details about f2f and loads.
