Dedicated account for a Walmart DC is no touch freight which is nice. Its also nice having food to buy at your delivery locations instead of always fast food or truckstop food.

Hardest part about that account is getting the store to answer the back door. If you ring the doorbell, employees generally walk away and don't tell a manager.

Then again, Werner lost some Walmart accounts last year, so dunno whats left.

I like the Dray Account if there is one in your area.. not a fan of the dollar general or family dollar accounts.. a lot of accidents and injuries....

I'm on the Walmart account and love it. Mostly all drop and hook. Sometimes shippers are a live load. Someone mentioned getting the store employees to come to the door. I back up put the paper work in the handle of the trailer, bump the dock unhook, hook an empty and go. I stay out a month at a time and they don't screw with me. I always get at least 3000 miles a week. Plus at the DCs they are always cooking something outside the drivers lounge so free meals are often. All the Walmart drivers and staff have always been very nice to work with.
