But for sure Builders Transportation is discriminating against blacks, here it is: Most all white guys runs West Coast, I know three black guys that passed a test and was given every excuse for reasons they could not run West Coast. And most of the white guys said they had no problems getting runs out in the West Coast. This has to stop; and this company have all whites working in their office located in Memphis Tennessee, one black woman works to herself in a different area separated from all the whites.

Can you explain what kind of test they make a driver do to go west?

Of course racism exist, always has always will. But the operations department of a trucking company is about the least racist people there are. They probably don't even know the race of the driver they assign a load to, nor do they care. Why would they? They need a load moved, it's their only concern. To say that they are systemically singling out black drivers is preposterous.

oh nah its more racist drivers then anything. ..if you want to work they will work you...but I have ran into situations where it wasnt fair and it was racism. ...Mexicans though

Let me tell you something Ethos! The guys that take the test at Builders Transportation go right to the branch in Memphis Tennessee, so the staff at Builders Transportation see their face to know if their black or white. It is all about being the right pedigree to run West for Builders Transportation. The white guys told my husband they had no problems getting runs to the West Coast. IT IS ALL DISCRIMINATION ETHOS! Take you a ride to Builders Transportation located in Memphis Tennessee, and see for yourself that all white folks work inside of the office. This company shows favoritism! The white guys that took the test told my husband that they knew if they passed the test the same day to run West Coast, but when my husband was given a test, in which he knew he passed, he haven't heard nothing of his test results, and they are making every excuse to keep him from making road trips out West Coast!
