I received an e-mail today from TransAm confirming acceptance into the Student Training Program. Since I have read a few things here concerning questions about orientation,etc,I'm including an attachment here of the e-mail I received. I hope this helps a few with their questions.

I'll start on the 26th.

 

TransAm was one of the worst companies I ever worked for. SLOW freight and low pay. Terrible dispatchers. After his Mom died They would not even let me drop my co-driver off at the bus station which was only 14 miles from the flying J were we were! The owner lied right to my face on several occasions. The only good part of my whole TransAm experience was the flight back home! They have nice trucks and that's about the only positive thing I can say about this company. I wish you the best and hope you have a better experience with them than I did.
