washing the truck in your driveway

    changing a bulb

    changing the linen

    cleaning the floor

    fueling

moving from one side of the street or parking lot to another place or position

waiting to get loaded and cleaning your mirror

waiting to get unloaded and checking your tire pressure

waiting to get loaded or unloaded (unless you go into the sleeper berth)

taking a safety class, online at home or at your terminal

    getting your DOT physical

driving your car to the terminal to get into your truck

sitting at a rest area or truckstop in the driver's seat

if that's the case, just about 99% of drivers have/are falsifying their logbook, lol.

i am not the stickler to fmcsa commandments

i dont condemn a driver for doing what he has to do to get the job done, as long as he is safe to the public, i couldnt care what anyone does

When it comes to the basic logging yes im legal.Have no violations to prove that. But logging to change a lite bulb, change linen that sort of thing nope, lol. It's not like the DOT is right there watching every move you make.Their main concern is not driving over your legal hrs.

    Raiderfanatic and Dinomite Thank this.
