I do feel much better now that you mention it.

Get to GE this morning and the guy tells me the piece is loaded backwards. Uh, GE hired the crane in Colorado to load it. And they unloaded it with a crane so who cares?

    *Rant coming up*

Every now and then Martin will make the comment about "Idiot permit girl" "Idiot this person or that person" and I always never cared for the word "Idiot", it strikes me as just wrong to say...........until today. Three weeks ago I get a call from the office telling me that my TWIC card is coming up for renewal and that they are going to renew it online for me and all I will have to do is wait for the email that it is ready then make the appointment to pick it up. Today I get a call from the same girl in the office that "We cant renew your card online, you have to do it yourself". Ok, no worries I can do that. I go online only to find out that the reason they couldn't renew it online is because they waited until AFTER it expired to try and renew it. So now instead of a simple renewal I have to go through the whole process again. They should have just told me from the get go that "You need to renew your TWIC card online because we are too incompetent to do it" and I would already had it done..........idiots.

As a glutton for punishment, I am going to load in the morning here in Evansville to Brownsville.

As a positive, the load was supposed to be wide and heavy but now is just wide - somehow the load lost 20k lbs after I booked it. Hmmm

Are you still getting the rate you booked it for, or did they want to lower it?

No I negotiated the rate and they are still paying. Saves me about$400. Is AR letting you run 55/40/440/30 or still have to run through bald knob at 12'11" wide?

Well when I left Ar. to Tn. I got kicked off 40 onto 33 I belive it was to 70 then back onto 40 and then off again on the west end of W. Memphis.
They got 40/55 all tore up so you have to come in on I55. How tall will you be?

Well all we got done was 48 miles over to the shipper and wait for 2 other trks. to finally stroll in about 10am for 7 am ld. times. The shipper was pretty cool about things, Their lot is a little tight for getting around in though.
Tells me to get turned around and stretch out the trl. and then blindside it in the loading area.
I ask can't I just back in and then stretch, Naw we do this all the time. Ok. They help spot you in and all just kind of weird why not back in short and then stretch.
Got it lded. and chained down. Left it in the lding bay while they finished up on it. Oh plus we got paid for the whole day to wait.. good rate as well on the sit time

Should be right at 13 6 but with only 20l on the deck, it may not take out muck arch. They told me 11 11 but who really knows at this point. Hoping do save the pilot car money in AR if possible.
