Yep, as much as everyone wants to bang on Swift, our safety record is such that DOT pretty much leaves us alone ... have friend who drove on a dedicated account for CRE. Got a level 1 every quarter.dptrucker Thanks this.

thats true. but i drove that old volvo for awhile and thought everytime that the prepass greenlighted me that this is the time they do an inspection. but nope, they wait till i'm in a new truck lol

Here in Lynchburg. Show up for pldd and find out live ld. Will take 4-6 hours. Thank you csr. Due in carol stream by midnight Tuesday. There goes my week as far as miles.

At the Love's north of Las Vegas. The winds today were fierce. Really glad that I had some weight in the box and that the wind was from my right. As expected my mileage was less than optimal, however 7.1 given the wind isn't that bad.
Deliver tomorrow in Shafter, CA. Good thing I checked my PTA. Somebody or something changed it from 03/18 @ 1400 to 03/19 @ 0219. This is the second time that I have caught this happening. Given the oddball time I'm inclined to think some computer is to blame. -
Just finished loading my trailers, and yep, not enough hours to even get to a safe have, so keep the trailer in the yard and I will stay in the staging area. Already sent MAC 22 showing eta, 3/19 at 0600. Been in the sleeper for 7 hours, but probably about 2 hours of sleep, so not going to attempt to try and get some more and then drive all night, especially over the mntns in WV on I-77. I kinda like to see the road.

More than likely that is what happened. I have caught it a few times. Computer pings the truck, figures the miles and your hours, and wham, changes PTA. NOtice that it is showing a break of 12 hours.
-
Both times that it's happened have been noon or later deliveries after a 4-6 hours drive. Makes sense that some rogue computer program is mucking with my PTA.
My plan is to keep looking for another load up to the point I MT out. If I do not have another load at that time I'll blow my PTA out to the next morning and head for a truck stop. -
I get my PTA changed most often when I am showing only an hour or so available upon delivery.

A lot nicer weather today in Oklahoma versus that wet windy mess yesterday in Arkansas. Unloaded this morning, and taking long break at the Love's just north of Wagoner, OK at US-69 and 412 due to short on hours today. Only 30-miles away from my next load in Tulsa going to Ennis, TX. The time gave me a chance to catch up on some rest, bookkeeping and light maintenance on my 2009 International ProStar. Am happy that spring and warmer weather is coming. Be safe drivers, as still some nasty areas out there.
